i have only been in the etsy game for the past month as a seller but i purchased my first piece about a week ago and it came yesterday.
i am over the moon with this crazy duck photo. it is simply cute. the photographer/seller was fantastic throughout the whole purchase process. i suggest you check out his etsy shop.
click on the photo to go to trotalo’s etsy shop.
this week has been fairly busy.
i have been listing lots of supplies in my little etsy shop. mainly fabric and masking tape.
some of the fabric that has been listed in my shop.
i have also been carving stamps for my handmade washi card section. hopefully i will be finished with those in the next couple of days. they mainly include insects and animals. snails, frogs, dragonflies and things like that.
and finally my classes also keep me busy. this is yuichi. he has been studying with me for three years. he started at my school when he was only a shy six year old. he has turned into a little bit of a brute but i still have a soft spot for him. even though he is a naughty student he hasn’t missed a class since joining.
yuichi being a turd as usual.
so i didn’t end up going for that bike ride yesterday cause i wasn’t too sure how to get to the place where i wanted to go but i ended up going today. dh gave me detailed directions last night.
yesterday, i took heaps of photos of all my stuff i need to list in my etsy shop.
that was kind of fun but it took ages. still have heaps of supplies. dh just laughs at all the stuff i have. i couldn’t ask for a better husband. he really is a fantastic guy. anyway i am getting off the topic.
i ended up going today. i got some fairly nice shots but my camera battery went dead after 10 or so minutes.
oops i forgot to recharge my camera battery. i really am a silly duffer.
i am really looking forward to hanami (cherry blossom viewing and drinking) but momo is my favourite blossom of all.
my sister is the professional photographer in our family but i think i did a pretty good job. :)
for the past week it has been fairly wet and dark but today is a fantastic day so i off on my bike to take some photos of peach blossoms.
i just hope i can get some nice shots.
it has been a fairly busy week hence the reason i haven’t written on this blog. i don’t know how everyone finds the time to write and update everyday. wow.
anyway, last night i couldn’t be fagged cooking so we just ended up having a cheese and biscuit party.
nice and easy.
yes, if you look closely my tatami floor looks dirty but it isn’t.
i just went crazy with japanese sumi ink one day. dh bought some super yummy strawberries. he usually goes a little overboard when i send him shopping. not good for the budget. not to worry.

my wednesday morning class pay me my salary at the start of every month for my three classes with them.
a student from the group always goes to the bank to get me clean, fresh notes.
it is always great to get money but there is nothing better than getting clean money.
i really appreciate their kind gesture and sincere thoughts.
number …….52…….53…..54.
i think these note will have to go towards a new computer for my husband who is now having a battle with his. his computer has been giving him the beep for the past three hours and he has been ever so patient with it but i think it is dead. lol
he just won’t let go.
he still has his 13 year old dusty ex hanging around. just can’t get rid of her.

but i called you both on your anniversary so that counts.
happy 3rd anniversary for the 3rd of march steve and carina. i am sure you had a great one.
in japan the 3rd of march is girls day (hina matsuri :doll festival).
what a fantastic day to get married on.
there are many cute decorations all around the country to celebrate this special day.

on sunday, my dh and i went to our local yakitori shop. we haven’t been there for a while so it was nice.
after a few drinks i started to see double. when we arrived home i looked up at the moon and i swear there was two of them.
i raced into the house, without falling over, to get my camera.
looking at the photo the next day only showed one crescent shaped moon.
i am 100% sure i saw two. oh well. i think i took a bloody good shot for someone seeing two at the time.
lol.
can you see two?????

yeah!
i know it’s not 500 in one day but who cares.
should have been cleaning today but i decided to list some of my hamaguri pendants in my little etsy shop instead.
these ones are now up for sale :
and i love this one :
and this :
so that is how i have filled in my day. great excuse to get out of cleaning.
